Friends

Blue skies, the sea, a fire, dogs and friends - what more could one ask for? The usual New Years trip to Crackington Haven. By the time I arrived the fire was going so I provided the marshmallows and skewers and after hugs all round set off down the beach with my camera. I had a good catch up with Vegan Jo then back to the fire and a photo shoot with Circus Girls dogs - the little terrier is pregnant and the gorgeous Lurcher rather old - but she did find a tasty rock! Then off  down the beach again as the sun slipped behind the hillside. Homeopathics Girls husband joined me with his Iphone and we marvelled at how it could pick up colours that were not otherwise obvious! Oh how the camera lies!
Once the sun had sunk we headed for the cafe and hot chocolate to drink before sitting outside once more by their fire pit. Plans  made to celebrate birthdays that had been and were to come.The group gradually dispersed and it was a lovely drive home with the moon, venus and stars. 
A few tears shed on the way there and back but good to reconnect with friends in the new year in the usual way.
