Changed my mind...

There's an instagram search for ambassadors for a dance brand. Katie was quite keen at the idea, we've already entered a couple of photos but she got a new tiara with some of her Christmas money so she fancied doing some new photos. In her tiara. And her tutu. 

It's been a lovely day. I made her wake up fairly early, compared to the last few days, in preparation for school tomorrow. We had a lovely time working on our duet for a festival in a few weeks time. It's been a while since we've had a go and she really enjoyed the time together on it. We spent a while doing some jobs round the house, getting it a bit straighter after the holidays/panto chaos. She spent ages playing with her lego and sorting it by colour. I had a bath as she played some more but then she played her clarinet. She was amazing today! She did some stuff she's been working at getting & got it brilliantly. She has all but ditched her Eb, she didn't pick it up at all this morning. 

This afternoon we were having one of her friends visit us. She's a gorgeous, adorably precocious little redhead from her class and the two of them were delightful together. Her dad dropped her off and we walked to the shopping centre. The girls filled sweetie cups of candy king in preparation for our cinema visit. We went for 'ccinos at Costa and then had a little wander in the toy shop to fill a few minutes before we went to buy our tickets. I'd decided we would go see Moana as a last treat before back to school. I loved it. Katie liked a lot of it but climbed into my lap a bit scared after a while. She said later "her tears were nearly coming out". It's a great film though! We walked home, the girls skipping and laughing together. We had just got in and G's daddy arrived for her - to their disgust. However, they were pleased as her dad helped me do a job on the car so they got to play dress up after all. We popped out for a couple of bits then headed home. She played a bit of piano then cuddled up to giant teddy monkey for an early night
