New Year, New Digs

My Dear Fellow,

There was a lot of excitement over the weekend as Er Indoors completely reorganised the bedroom. She does have a gift for managing to make cramped rooms seem much bigger by moving a cushion or relocating a throw-blanket.

The new bedroom set up has realised Jasper's dream. He can now make his way to the top of the wardrobe. On top of the wardrobe is a box. On top of the box on top of the wardrobe is the basket we use to take the cats to the vet. 

Jasper, delighted at the new turn of events, has decided this is the best bed ever. 

And all this would be lovely if he hadn't also decided to try cannonballing his way from the top of the wardrobe into the middle of the bed. We both woke up with a start as a heavy little kitty landed with a THUD at 2am.

It took me ten minutes to recover. We may have to fit him with a parachute.
