Gwyn's back home after a week in hospital, until Friday when he will return to Cardiff and the excellent care of his girlfriend Jessie. He's making a rapid physical recovery but the emotional turmoil of the injury, the treatment and the weirdness of life on an orthopaedic ward will take  a while to settle. (Fred's helping.)

It's been a traumatic time for us all and not surprisingly I've been completely distracted from blipping. I'm very appreciative all the sympathetic and encouraging comments that have been made and I hope to resume normal service very soon; in the meantime my elder son's blips  are here. He's got a great eye for a picture but doesn't go in for a lot of words.
