Portrait

I thought camera club competition deadlines were looming so I spent the day gathering and preparing.  However, I then found out that they had loomed.  Others too had not noticed the deadlines whizzing by so an extension was arranged.  Good to be flexible about these things.

One of the competitions is 'Portraits' which gave me the excuse of taking a few shots of Ellen in her artistic endeavours.  We had some debate about whether the hand constituted a portrait.  Decided not to use it as an entry but thought it would make a good blip.  It is where it all happens.
