Little Egret

I am not sure what this Little Egret - normally associated with the Mediterranean although spreading into Britain now - is making of the Hebridean winter. It has been on the Isles for over two months now but is surprisingly elusive fro a big white bird. It seems healthy enough so must be finding enough to eat. Which can certainly be said of us - indeed too much to eat is probably true.
