Life through the lens...

Bee enticing!

The nasturtiums in the garden are buzzing with bees at the moment.
I wondered if the stripy pattern in the centre( which looks a bit like a bee) was to entice them in to pollinate the flower.
We have lots in the garden, which seed themselves every year.
Some people may think they are a nuisance, but I like them.
They remind me of my childhood, and also of Monet's garden at Giverny.
They spilled over onto the paths, and you can see them in many of his paintings.
That is what they do in our garden. (just have to watch for blackfly)

Sorry I'm a bit behind with comments. Didn't get back until late after taking the grandchildren home last night. Will try and catch up over the next few days.

Bank holiday weekend, and as usual the weather doesn't sound great.
Hope you all enjoy yourselves whatever you are doing.
