Hell Fire Pass

Part of the Burma to Siam death railway. The cutting is 25m deep through solid rock. For us this was a pleasant stroll today through beautiful scenery. However it is not hard to imagine the hardship and suffering that the POW forced labour went through due to overwork, poor diet, lack of medical supplies as well as the inhumanity of their captors.
