Mount Bogong

Christmas day means 3 things: Christmas Dinner, giving and receiving presents, and a long long run to work up an appetite for the dinner. Today we hiked up Mount Bogong, the highest peak in Victoria at 1986m. I strapped up my ankle and we headed up from the car park at 600m. It was pretty hot and there were many flies, but once we emerged from the tree line there was a cool breeze and no flies, brilliant! Swiftly walked back down and put the turkey in the oven.
