Merry Christmas!

What a great day!

9.30a.m. My daughter Gillian and her husband Neil came over for the "opening of the presents" ceremony.
We all have a glass of champagne and open our presents one by one - great fun had by all.
Then we have rolls with bacon and sausage and coffee and tea.

Gillian and Neil go on to see his Mum and Dad and then go home to see to their dogs.

Meanwhile I am busy in the kitchen getting everything prepared for the Christmas dinner.

We are having a "Nigella" dinner!

With the help of Beth and my husband we get everything ready.
Gillian and Neil return and we all have a lovely meal together.

These are the really funky slippers Beth gave me. They light up when I walk!
