Hot flowers.
Today we managed to dodge the rain on a late summer visit to RHS Harlow Carr. In fact it was really warm - we even sat outside on the terrace at Betty's!
The flowers were pretty hot too.
This selection is particularly well set off by the newly painted orange wall behind. Here and in the Buddleia's below there were more Peacock and Tortoiseshell butterflies than I have seen all summer.

The other mad hot flowers everywhere were red Echinacea absolutely abuzz with bees.

There was also a brief appearance by my favourite Robin but I only got his back view. A lovely day out as usual.
