Remembered it was Mono Monday - thought the tulips I purchased yesterday may suit (they are mauves and violets).

De-Christmas the house today. We wouldn't ordinarily take them down until 6th. However, this is the due date for our grandson and will need to go and have hugs and not worry about Christmas decs. House always looks bare when they come down.

One more day off for me (don't work on Tuesdays) :)
