Enigmatic

Day off and as a treat we decided to drive up to Kilmartin Glen for a walk amongst the standing stones there and then take a walk along the Crinan Canal.
Much chillier at Kilmartin ,where my car was registering the temperatue as 1C,than in Campbeltown.
Had a wander over to the standing stones at Nether Largie, where this image was taken, my extra shows how it fits into the alignment. Then onto Temple Wood.
We knew the cafe at Kilmartin would be closed so we had taken a packed lunch which we ate in the car back at the car for the standing stones.
From here we made our way to Bellanoch where we parked the car and then headed along the canal towpath to Crinan.
When we got to Crinan we spotted a group of blippers on an outing of their own. Some blethering and Happy New Yearing ensued. Always great to catch up with our blip friends MotherShipton and Snapper and at last we got to meet Wee Flecky and FerrariaC.
Super way to spend my last day off :-)
