I had been warned.........

.........by friends on coming to America about the perils of bathing in the Pacific (as if anyone in their right mind would put even a toe  in the water in January!! ) abounding in great white sharks etc!
But nobody so much as mentioned their penchant for ones boiled eggs in the morning :-D
