Derwentwater Sunset

A glorious day in the lakes with a bucketload of photos and a couple of good walks, the day started out at a super calm and very spectacular Bassenthwaite Lake.

Then some more time around Derwentwater with an circular walk including an ascent of Catbells followed by a sunset excursion into what I thought was Crow Park but now seems to be Hope Park. No wonder the locals park on the verges when they want you to pay £3 for 2 hours parking on a winters evening, we joined them on the verges!
