Resolutions
Mono Monday: New Year's Resolutions
It was two years ago that I resolved to try to do something with my interest in photography and to start using Blip to ensure that I took at least one photo every day. Last year I signed up for Emma Davies's "A year with my camera" course, which I found really helpful but have not had the time to keep up with as much as I wanted.
So this year, wishing upon my evening star, I intend both to have another go at Emma's course both to improve my photography and also try to avoid having to upload mundane repetitive EB images wherever possible. Obviously real life and my work and family commitments will get in the way, but I shall give it a go and see how I get on. In the meantime here is a shot taken slightly earlier this evening of the New Moon and my evening star (which I think is almost certainly not a star at all but Venus).
Today has been the last day of the Christmas break, tomorrow it is back to work and the horror that is January in England ;-). Still, as we have no holidays or trips away planned at this point there is the rather enjoyable task of sorting something out to look forward to. This time last year we planned to go to Cordoba and loved every minute. I am sure that there is an equally fascinating destination awaiting, once we make the effort to research it ....
Thank you to Marlieske for hosting the MM challenge during January.
