Ten Thousand Angels

Maybe that's what we need for the New Year.  10,000 Angels with messages of peace winging their way down to Earth.

A beautiful day here today so we decided to go to Lichfield Cathedral to see the Christmas Trees and the 10,000 angels created by local school children with their messages of peace all displayed in the cathedral.

I was particularly struck by the juxtaposition of the old regimental flags and the angels...

The extra is of the 2015 reinstalled Medieval glass purchased by a local man from a monastery in Belgium and sold to the Cathedral to replace that lost in the Civil War.  It was so beautiful today.
