Sunlight on the path

I got plenty done today.  I made bread in the morning and went for a walk in the sunshine to the local nature reserve.  I was too hurried in approaching the pond and frightened the birds away before getting my camera out.  In the afternoon I made a large sausage and bean casserole which should do me two or three meals this week.  I am tempted to eat some tonight as it is a very tasty Hairy Bikers' recipe and more interesting than the shepherd's pie I have waiting to heat up in the fridge. However, the shepherd's pie needs finishing off so I shall have to practice some deferred gratification.
