Loch Laggan

We picked the best part of the day for our walk, which was stil far from dry.

It was "high tide".
The water level at Loch Laggan rises in tandem with that of the reservoir retained by Laggan Dam They are effectively the same body of water connected by a widened and deepened channel. I note there has been some recent additional entrainment (dredging) work at the outlet of the loch using a long reach excavator.
