Ignoring the Fireworks

Mum wasn't sure that today would be a good day for us, and I don't blame her because it turned out to be the Big Fireworks day. Neither of us like them, and as we live at the outskirts of a city, there are lots of them.

Tour de ski started today, and as we are cross-country skiing fans, we watched it and enjoyed it. I mostly snooze, but still. We had a very nice dinner at grandma and grandpa with fillet of beef and béarnaise sauce. I got a meatball and a small piece of meat. Yum!

Then we went home and started the Let's ignore the fireworks game. We watched a movie and then went to bed. I fell asleep like nothing special was going on, and when the banging got really loud, I just went in under the duvet and snuggled up close to mum! Piece of cake! Mum is relieved...
