No looking until I'm out of the bath please

or at least that's what I imagine this modest little blue tit is telling the gnome.

Don't worry I haven't lost my mind, I don't really believe that birds talk or that a very shabby looking garden gnome is a living being that has the facility to understand.

For me this innocent scene helps me to get my head away from an unpleasant duty that I had to perform today.. I had to go to Court for a case against one of our less than desirable tenants this afternoon. The substance of the hearing was very distasteful and distressing so I will not and cannot relate it here. That said, justice prevailed and the Judge ruled in our favour!

If I could have taken my camera in to Court I would have loved to have got a shot of the Judge. He had extremely mobile eyebrows which moved up and down in time with his speaking and writing. I wonder if he is aware of it? It was a bit of light relief in an otherwise awful situation.

A lovely long weekend ahead... shame the weather has taken a dive.
