Family London day

The first half of this week was nice and restful compared to the craziness of the last couple. Then today I used my final day of annual leave to meet up with the fam for a London day - Phantom of the Opera, followed by an early dinner at Ping Pong which was all amazing. Only grievance is the way in which I was greeted - I was sitting on the steps of the theatre waiting for everyone else, with a bag full of Christmas presents by my feet for the others to take back home for me. I was happily scrolling on my phone until a man in a coat walks briskly past me, snatching my back and walking on. This man in a coat being George playing a horrible prank while the other 3 are lmao'ing. NOT FUNNY or appreciated but good to know that if I was actually mugged, my immediate reaction is apparently to stand up and say quite politely "Errr, excuse me."

After the others left to get the train home, I went and got my nose pierced at a place I'd been stalking the good reviews about. Very happy with it, and it did hurt but a weirdly manageable type of pain, and the piercer was SO lovely that all in all, I am glad with this decision. Plus apparently if I take the piercing out in the first few months, it literally heals over in 1 minute so #noregrets
