A puzzle

There is something about this image that I am struggling to explain.  It was not visible in my previous blips of this bridge during earlier stages of construction.  Can you see what it is?

Compare this blip with one 16 months ago: https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2086971100587099641

or this one seven months ago:  https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2181185072349055617

(all taken from the same location)

Does everything look OK to you?

Well, this is what bothers me.

There appears to be a light barrier across the Forth at water-level below the bridge and slightly on the near side.

The best explanation I can come up with is:

a) Fact. The sun was near to setting and only slightly above the horizon.
b) Assumption. The sides of the bridge decking must be highly reflective and angled at approximately 45 degrees.
c) Following on from assumption b): A high intensity of sunlight is then striking the water below and to the side of the bridge such that surface disturbance reflects a high proportion towards the camera.

If anyone can come up with an alternative explanation (that doesn't involve aliens) please let me know.

Sorry, I haven't stated what this is a blip of.
It is the Forth Replacement Crossing (FRC), later to be known as the 'Queensferry Crossing' (No, not ' Bridgy McBridgespan')
The sections are all joined up now and construction is due to be completed in May 2017.

Thank you everyone who appreciated my bit of fun yesterday.
