2017 Starts here!

Saw in the new year with our hosts, a member of the Edinburgh Royal Choral Union and his family. Terrific view of the fireworks from up on.the hill above Colinton.

Icy start in the morning as we set off to visit Lady Findhorn and his Lordship, there to be plied with hard liquor and mince pies, panettone and coffee. Excellent! So lovely to see them both again, to laugh and chat and get good big hugs!

Rehearsal in the afternoon went well then back to our hosts for dinner and an early night. Received a text from Ollie to say he was having a lovely time and had had roast beef for his dinner! He seems to be coping with the separation remarkably well . . . !
