New Year, Same Height, Different Ranking

A good morning of tidying, regrouping and heading to the pub for a hair of the dog, abandoning the kids to a(nother) Star Wars marathon.

Home for baked potato and chilli lunch and either that or the hairy dog bit back and I was back in bed for a restorative nap. It did its thing and I was up just in time to bid adios to our friends and the end of the festivities. Thank goodness for the bonus bank holiday tomorrow to restore some calm and order to the world before all starts up again.

It's been an unsurprisingly hard day for J. But we start the year filled with determination.
