First rule of taking the dog for a swim in the creek - always check the tide times! The swim was postponed today as the tide was out too far and the mud between us and it was too thick!

Just a few hours at work today, most of it taken up with a meeting about workloads and the pressures of working in the NHS and then off to a friends house to photograph some of her fantastic cakes for her website. Made me feel quite peckish so a stop off at the bakers was called for!

Why is it that whenever there's a bank holiday, the weather always takes a turn for the worse? However, the rain may mean a decent kip tonight....silver lining to that dark looming cloud maybe :-)
