Frost & Prost

The frost got harder - these needles are about an inch long - I don't think I've ever seen this before.  It is fair to say that it is cold outside..

We had a great evening of eating (traditional raclette thing) and Sekt at midnight.  And then we heard a million foreworks going off - nothing to see because the fog never left us.

We were late to bed - I'm normally in bed by 10:30 so anything after midnight is late to me - and woke to this frost (and our garden was full of sticks from fireworks).  The cats seem to prefer our company today, it's warm where we are....

I wish you a 2017 filled with happiness and wonder.  I think you deserve it.
