Tarn Hows

A stroll round Tarn Hows before friends arrived to celebrate NY and eat the duck pie.
Various games played during the evening. I won most of them - there are some advantages in not drinking!
No resolutions this year. We often spend NYE with these friends and over the years G has recorded our NY's resolutions. He read out the 2007 list. Interesting to see that some of the resolutions had been achieved. Me: less grumpy. I: to keep his body parts inside his body (he'd just survived a serious aneurysm and had had large parts of his intestines and surrounding bits and pieces remove.) G: to be more assertive and M, I can't remember hers.
