Lamb shank Sunday is followed by a day of firsts

First day back at work, first game of badminton in 2016, first day of Diana coming home from school with no specific plans for dinner, first chat with Luke this year to name just a few.

I'm not drinking after badminton tonight. My liver needs a break and with 3 nights out already on the cards, I'm doing no drinking in between. I might even go for a dry February if it's going to be a quiet month and if I do sign up with a personal trainer, he/she might insist on it anyway.

Tim has indicated that he will have no +1 when we go out later this week and later in the month. I suspect it may signal that he and Andrea are no longer an item. I do hope I'm wrong.
