A great start to the year!

Hello 
New to blipfoto and this is my first upload.
A new year and a new challenge to get the photography juices flowing!
I'm a British expat now living in Wellington, New Zealand. 
My aim for this is to initially try a 31 day challenge to post a photo a day taken that day for the whole of January, where it leads after that we'll have to wait and see.
New Years Day here has seen a day of rain and winds exceeding 100kph,  not a kiwi summer yet!
