A Pretty Pair

I was out early to catch the poppies as the sun came up. It was already warm at 20ºC. Hard to believe that only two days ago it was 4º. There was a gusty nor’wester that made the poppy petals flutter. So the year started with a sunrise, blue sky, hot sunshine, warm wind and a sunset. Just like summer.
