Catalpa bignonioides
In Queens Gardens in Warrington there are two fine examples of the above tree. Commonly known as the Indian Bean Tree, due to the long beans that will apear later. They were planted around the turn of the twentieth century. The park was purchased to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897. I don't know how big the trees were when planted.
