Happy New Year

I didn't know this before, but SHE said I have to wish everyone a Happy New Year.  So I have.  For me every year is happy, but I hope that this one is especially happy for me and for everyone else.

Hey, do you know what?  There is an interloper in the house.  There's a brand new CAT downstairs, and I'm not allowed to go near it.  We did have a bit of a sniff at each each, but she did hold me VERY firmly so I couldn't get all that close.

Only time will tell if we become friends or not.  But as you all know, I quite like cats, so long as they belong to us.  Rani was my very best friend, and Raj is my best friend too.  SHE told me that this one is called Elsa.  Something to do with lions, but I can't quite see the connection.
