Cool and cloudy

...is the order of this first day of 2017 here at Lake Tarawera near Rotorua in New Zealand,but Tarawera Times and I will still enjoy our daily swim out and around the little island you see a couple of hundred metres or so from the beach and back to the shore. A refreshing (not to say, bracing) wake up in the late afternoon.
