I had a lie in this morning till 8:30, whoo! Thanks Mr J. We had a leisurely breakfast then headed over to get P from her friends house.

She had a brilliant time by all accounts. They didn't go to sleep till nearly midnight after Deb had caught them with bags of haribo at around 11:30! They were full of beans this morning and were busy singing karaoke when we arrived.

Once P had been prised away from her friends house we headed to the retail park to get some new blinds for the dining room then back home again. I took the Christmas decorations down this afternoon. I don't usually take them down so early but the fancy just took me today.

This evening we had a party food tea. We had some music on and had a mad dance around. We then took the kiddies outside to do some sparklers. This is the first year I've let A hold one and he loved it.

2016 has been a bit of mega year. Some of it has been amazing and some other aspects I don't want to repeat anytime soon. I'm hoping for a much more settled 2017 and pray for all of my family and friends near and far, to be happy, healthy and content.
