A Stern Face and a Blue Hat

I was working at Skara Brae for the first time in a while, and spent most of the day down at the site in the wind and rain. It was quite enjoyable. I noticed that this farm building had a very determined expression as it faced out to sea. I think the blue hat may be a Christmas present. I hoped that a nearctic gull might pass by, and I was eventually rewarded with a 1st winter glaucous gull.
