Craftsman

Out in our barrio this morning getting my nails done (hands) and eyebrows tidied up to bring in the new year in a Brasilian style :-)  Bb popped his head into the salon to tell me he was off for a fruit juice round the corner and took advantage of the situation to blip me! 

This craftsman was working with speed and dexterity repairing this chair on a corner nearby.  Long may people still get things repaired and keep craftsmen like this employed! 

We're off to blipper briocarioca's for their house party tonight and then we'll all wander down to the beach for the famous fireworks. This is when I really appreciate the location of our place here - 5 mins from the beach, meaning no need for long walks through crowds for hours to get home - we did that one year from the far end of Copacabana to our hotel in Ipanema and it took 3 hours....at 3am!
