Reading pile

to start the New Year. Thanks to various donors and to bookshops I have browsed in during 2016. 

Mrs E and I have an optimistic outlook on 2017 and will be keeping our glasses at least  half full during the evening and talking loudly to the dogs. There is no such thing as a firework. 

Let happiness prevail and love conquer all. Truth and beauty will survive.
