Thatcham Discovery Centre

It was very cold and damp, so a brisk walk around the lake was good :)

I found birds I didn't recognise, but discovered they are Pochards.  Also saw, swans, a lone cygnet, dozens of geese and ducks and some tufted ducks :)  A mysterious bird is in my extras too (I wonder if its a mixed up goose/duck?

I have no idea why but I was woken up by someone banging on the front door last night at about 2am :(:(  I couldn't be bothered to get out of bed to see what was going on as I know if there was any problem both my neighbours have keys, and I leave my mobile on but charging at night so someone could have called me. Very odd and annoying... Maybe it was just a dream?


So I'm feeling tired today and when I got back I dozed on the sofa.  I've done much less than I intended to do but I don't think that particularly matters as there's only me at home :)

I think I will probably be one of the people who doesn't wait up for the new year.  This is the first year I haven't been doing a Street Pastors shift!
