Lady in Red

Managed to go for a short walk,first time for a week. I'd only gone a hundred yards or so when I met a lady with two excited children, she told me that there were three Egrets in the meadows but they wouldn't settle because of the number of dogs being walked. Although I looked carefully my only view of them was distant as they took to the air to avoid yet another dog.
I found nothing else worth taking but as I turned to start homeward I saw this runner start across the bridge and just managed to get my camera up in time  for one shot.
