This afternoon we visited Rabbit Island. It was a sunny day and while the wind was rather cool on the beach the water was extremely warm and the grandchildren loved playing in the surf. 
The grass picnic areas were sheltered and perfect for a relaxing afternoon tea and family soccer fun.

This is one of two blips I am uploading, once again very near midnight on the last day of 2016.

I am grateful so many of you are still visiting my journal and leaving lovely comments, stars and hearts while my time on blip has been so scarce recently. Normal services will resume in the next few days.
