Flower

I am posting early today as I have things to do and a friend is having open house later on.  
It has been an eventful year, not for me particularly, but in other ways and I find Hogmanay always makes me feel a bit melancholy.  You reflect on the year and think about achievements and losses, great events and tragedies, and wonder what the future holds for us all.  Photographing flowers has become something important to me during a very slow recovery process, so I thought it would be fitting to post the last flower photograph of 2016.  Here's to lots more in 2017.  Happy New Year!
