it is too windy to go outside
the sunset has blown away as have the colours
the swallows are scudding about close to the ground
as i arrived at my gate i startled a crested pigeon which was sheltering close-by
it was caught in a gust of wind and appeared to tumble off in uncontrolled flight

time for fire, sustenance and cosiness
