Tsunami

I brought my mom (standing in the middle of the frame) to the Renwick to show her the "Tsunami" exhibit - an art installation made of ceiling netting whose shape and lighting change periodically. It's meant to depict what it may have felt under that wave. Most people lay down on the ground to get the full effect of the exhibit. Mom declined to do so. Decorum? ;)

The extra is of the art sculpture I featured a couple of days ago. I returned this evening to see what it may be like at night and have to say I preferred it during daytime.
