Shopping the old way
Just been to our one-stall Friday morning market. In my basket: Cavaillon melon, 4 kinds of peach, and beans (fresh, in their pods) for making Boston beans, which are the real deal that baked beans gruesomely try to imitate. Even Fearnley-Whittingstall uses dried beans, but I go one better with my fresh ones.
