Champagne tea

Almost the end of the year, and a happier day. We met up with relatives and had a festive afternoon high tea with champagne at a glorious country house hotel at Turners Hill in Sussex. We watched rabbits grazing the lawn and everyone was in good spirits. It was a very foggy trip there and back, on a day when more than 50 flights were cancelled at Heathrow due to the poor visibility.
