Barney Warning He's on Patrol

I was out cleaning up after my flying pigs (aka finches, sparrows and doves) and heard Barney chattering away, warning everyone that he is on patrol and not going to let anyone else in the yard. 

It is another overcast day and that seems when Barney gets a little more testy about interlopers. He is the funniest little bully.

The house finches seem to have taken over the feeders, but the sparrows are still holding their own. The mourning doves are enjoying the bounty, while the pigeons seem to know they are not welcome.

I am grateful that Barney tolerates my presence in his yard.
