Dollymount
Back again to the land of my childhood...though all modernized now and lacking any of the unused paths and trails we traveled in our youth. All have been widened to accommodate upmarket mews and apartments.
However, the wooden bridge still holds itself apart as the gates to the wild kingdom that is Dollymount beach and it still delivers....always.... I was there well before dawn and enjoyed the walkers, joggers and sundry travelers crossing over as the Brent geese dispersed themselves from their roosts to the four corners of the seafront and inland to their old grazing grounds still intact among the big housing estates...
Unexpected invite for a coffee on the way home was nice as my friend is very busy online these days nurturing a future for herself.... I think she deserves it though so I wish her well.....just saying
