Freezing day

Jacques arrived to do all the work on pool cover replacement.

Lots of very hard work removing leaves caught on collapsed, flooded plastic, then cutting and dragging plastic away. Now piles of it littered around garden.

New cover arrived on time, but installation requires mathematical genius. Struggled, slipping on remaining ice and had to stop as daylight fled.

Feel very upset over it all. Jacques wonderful, but not magician. Thank goodness he was here.
