Sloane Square...

..where we spent most of the day. Peter Jones had lots of bargains but we didn't succumb and what we actually went to buy, they didn't have "quite what I want." I did buy some gifts though...for next year or birthdays. 

I loved the colourful food processors and thought of my baking friends. I have to admit to not having really baked for years. As we ate lunch on the top floor, the fog was closing in. 

Partridges had just what D wanted to take to our opticians as we didn't get to visit before Christmas. And I would love to have bought their tiny marzipan eclairs but at £2 each they struck as a bit pricey...

I don't recall seeing the Venchi ice cream shop on our last visit. Not for today, but it was quite busy even in today's cold!

And walking back to the tube, the tree lights and Christmas tree in Duke of York Square looked beautiful at dusk.
